A. RMFT Port
Requirements
The required ports and firewall configuration are determined by three factors:
1. Your specific RMFT deployment (see below).
2. Which transfer protocols are used to pull/push files from/to hosts.
3. How end-users upload packages to RMFT Server (HTTP/S, FASTCopy,
or SuperFAST).
Possible RMFT deployments are as follows:
Single RMFT Server in the Intranet

Taking the above factors into consideration, this section explains how to configure
your organization's firewall ports for each of the above deployments.
Single RMFT Server in the Intranet
Note The table below assumes that packages are being exchanged between
internal and external users. If RMFT is only used in the internal network the issue of
which ports to open is not relevant.
Component/Protocol Port Description
GQS 3102 This port only needs to be opened for inbound
communication if you are using the RMFT
Remote Administration Console to administrate
RMFT Server from outside your organization.
Protocol: FASTCopy
Used by: RMFT
Enhanced CLI.
5745 Open this port for inbound communication if
external users are using FASTCopy to upload
files to RMFT Server.

5750 Open this port for inbound communication if
external users are using SuperFAST to upload
files to RMFT Server.
