 QuickFind: COM – Resolved an issue using QuickFind to query the Audit Trail

document type for deleted documents. QuickFind displayed a Run-time error 1288, if

the user attempts to open a document from the query result. The reason this occurred

is the document was deleted and the Audit Trail only contains the record of the delete

document event. (8175)

 Fax In: Setup – A Browse button was added to the folder location control of the

Setup>Fax dialog. (9742)

 Document Type: Templates – Fixed the truncation of Fortis Web template file names

on the Templates tab of the Document Type dialog. (8227)

 Versioned Documents: Query Results – Resolved an issue with username case behavior

that could sometimes result in the current version of a document from displaying in a

query result (9809)

 Release 2.4.1 (09/2008)

 Fortis 2.4.1 resolves numerous open issues and includes several new features and

product enhancements. It is recommended that all customers upgrade to Fortis 2.4.1

to take advantage of the improvements.

 NOTE: Fortis 2.4.1 includes all hot fixes and service pack updates released in Fortis

2.4.0. Customers can upgrade to Fortis 2.4.1 directly from Fortis 2.3.0 or 2.4.0. The

installation includes all of previous updates. Installation instructions are in the Fortis

Installation Guide.pdf document included with the release or available for download

from our

 AutoCAD: eDrawings Integration – Westbrook Technologies has partnered with

SolidWorks Corporation to provide our customers with enhanced support of various

AutoCAD file formats through integration with the SolidWorks eDrawings Viewer. The

updated list of supported file formats includes:

 DWG / DXF all versions up to 2008

 eDrawings (eDRW, ePRT, eASM)

 Native SolidWorks Documents (sldprt, sldasm, slddrw)

 Important: Customers who wish to use the eDrawings integration to access updated

AutoCAD support need to download eDrawings from the SolidWorks website and

install it on each of the Fortis Workstations. The eDrawings installer prompts you to

enter a license key-skip this screen and proceed with the installation and registration.
